We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The Accounts Assistant will provide support to the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including recording invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing, including calculating hours worked, updating employee records, and preparing payroll reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and files, both electronic and physical.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as directed by senior accounting staff.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist with other ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently with numerical data.
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
