We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The Accounts Assistant will provide support to the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including recording invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including calculating hours worked, updating employee records, and preparing payroll reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and files, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as directed by senior accounting staff.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently with numerical data.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in financial transactions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Salary: as per experience

  • 9:00 A.M to 5:00 PM
  • Monday to Saturday
