We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator/Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Administrator/Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our clients, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations, and providing support to the payroll department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for clients accurately and timely, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Enter payroll data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues with employees or managers.
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including retroactive pay, commissions, and reimbursements.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and statements to clients and employees.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients, employees, and government agencies, providing timely and accurate information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and files, including employee information, tax withholding forms, and payroll deductions.
- Assist with payroll tax filings, including preparation of tax returns, payments, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the payroll department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.

- Experience with payroll software and systems.
- Familiarity with payroll tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
